Large solar companies sell and install at a high volume. While this sounds impressive to investors, focusing on new installations means they lack the bandwidth necessary to take care of customers once the glass hits the roof. Their customer service often consists of AI and call centers based outside the U.S.

In contrast, local contractors have a symbiotic relationship with the communities they serve. Their success is contingent on the quality of their work, not the stock market or targeted marketing campaigns. All employees are local, LLM use is limited, and customers can access human beings before, during, and after installation.

Because so many banks specialize in energy efficiency and renewable energy products, you Sun Pearl Resources consultant will only make recommendations after meeting with you, your family members, your property manager, and any other relevant parties.

That said, if you prefer to work with local entities (we know we do!), The CT Green Bank works with local banks to provide funding for renewable and energy efficient products. Their loans are a viable option for some, while others may find solar banks more appropriate for their needs.

While Sun Pearl Resources does focus on products relevant to solar such as panels, racking, batteries, and roofs, we can connect you to local contractors who specialize in other energy efficiency products, such as windows and heat pumps.

Please know that most of our consultants do not perform the home evaluation for these products, so you would work directly with the contractor on these projects.

We do not identify our partners in a public forum for two reasons.

First, we want to make sure you meet with a Sun Pearl Resources consultant, not a salesperson. Even the best solar companies can unwittingly hire a “solar bro.” We want to be as neutral as possible when we help you select your contractor.

Second, posting their logos on our website in any particular order may create the impression of favoritism. All of our partners perform high-quality work. Sun Pearl Resources just provides relevant details for you to make your decision. Neutrality is paramount.
